Work Report 400
July 2024 – April 2025
“Introducing Peikko’s DELTABEAM® in 80 Park Plaza: A Hypothetical Cost-Savings Analysis” was my second work term report written during my term with Entuitive in their New York office. This stemmed from a visit from a Peikko representative who spoke about the product, for which I proposed a cost-benefit analysis to my team. This report was then written, which was used in the firm’s future considerations for Deltabeam.
In this report, I compared two versions of 80 Park Plaza, an existing standard office tower in Newark, New Jersey: one with a traditional steel structure and one with Deltabeam. It has a standard rectangular footprint and is twenty-six stories tall, making it an ideal candidate for Deltabeam, which allows for reduced floor sandwich heights.
