Warrior Home
July 2021 – April 2022
As part of Warrior Home, I contributed to Habitat for Humanity’s initiative to develop the first phase of a tiny home community in Halton Hills for members of the deaf community. The challenge was to design three sustainable, architecturally cohesive homes that integrate well with the surrounding demographic and landscape. My role involved assisting with site planning and conducting urban analysis to support the proposed development.
We created two site plans that emphasize strong planning principles such as infrastructure intensification, community gardens, winding roads, and shared spaces to foster a sense of place and community. Habitat for Humanity expressed interest in expanding the concept to 6–8 homes, with potential for up to 18 units in future phases. We later produced detailed designs and landscape renderings for implementation.
